Recreational Dance Classes
Tutus & Taps
If your child loves to twirl and leap around the house, it’s time to dance on over to our place! Using props and our imaginations, proper ballet and tap technique are taught in these classes.
Once a month, our Tutus and Taps classes will include tumbling using our Acrobatic Arts syllabus. Our dancers perform both a ballet and tap dance during the Spring Recital.
This combination class is perfect for families who are short on time.
Proper ballet, tap and jazz techniques are taught using age appropriate music and steps.
Dancers practice and develop all three styles by learning combinations, across the floor and dance routines.
Ballet/Tap/Jazz students perform all three styles at our Spring Recital.
Ballet is the foundation of all western dance styles. Beginner to advanced students are taught vocabulary, proper alignment and classical ballet technique.
Classes include adagio and allegro work and combinations using balance, strength and style. Dancers have the ability to progress to a higher level throughout the year.
Learn to dance to the latest cool beats. These powerful, high energy classes are great for kids who love to move and have plenty of energy.
Classes are available for students aged 6+.
Dancers are taught in a loving and joyful way by our exceptional teachers and assistants. Just like our other combination classes, our Special Stars learn ballet, tap and jazz.
Dancers learn combinations, work across the floor and use our specially modified ballet barres. These barres are uniquely made for dancers in wheelchairs.
Some of our Special Stars even take a dance number to competition. Due to safety for our dancers, Special Stars classes begin online and then move into the studio when the dancers and families feel comfortable.
A perfect class for teenagers who have little to no experience. The class will study ballet, tap and jazz with a focus on jazz. Dancer’s will have the opportunity to perform at both our Winter and Spring Recital.
