Dancer Dress Code
Must wear their hair off of their faces.
No bedroom slippers or ballet shoes with ties are allowed.
No bare midriffs are allowed at MTD.
Students are not allowed to wear jeans or jewelry except post earrings.
If a student is out of dress code, they may not be able to participate in class.
See list for specific class needs.
Please be sure your child follows dress code for every class! Our Dress Code encourages discipline, helps students prepare mentally and physically for class, and keeps them safe as the instructors are able to correct body alignment.
Your child will be able to better focus and learn in class as they will not be distracted by ill-fitting clothing and will have an increased sense of purpose and belonging.
Please ensure ALL of your child’s clothes are clearly labeled - individual shoes, socks, jackets… you’ll be amazed at the amount of lost property we generate!
